I know that the Sitka building was donated by Mt. Edgecumbe High School (All ages Boarding school and hospital at the time) which was under the control of the BIA at the time. I only know this because I attend the school and have visited the UAS Campus in Sitka several times. There is a plaque proving this donation at the footsteps of the college. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alchier (talk • contribs) 06:01, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

This article could be improved by referencing the recommended structure and added info about academics (research/reputation), admissions and costs and citing some of the university's recent recognitions in terms of Military Friendly Schools, op LGBTQ-Friendly Online Schools for 2017 by SR Education Group, etc. ~~ Shackpoet (talk) 00:48, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'm supposed to believe that all that is more important than a history section, which this article lacks? The lack of a history section is usually the first clue that the article was intended to be promotional from the start. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 09:47, 29 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
