User; Comedian1018 {talk} cut the content from the 1984 section and moved it to the redirect page 1984 Utah Utes football team. On the new page he added one game summary and a roster list with 7 names. I do not believe that's enough information to warrant a new article. All of that information could be contained in this original article. This article was about 20 kilobytes in information before he cut the 1984 season.

I am all for splitting up the article if there is enough information to warrant it. However, we are a long way away from that point. Splitting up the article on an ad hoc basis is a bad idea. It is confusing for a reader to be looking at the first 2/3 of Stobart's tenure at Utah, and then be redirected to a completely new article for the last 1/3. —Ute in DC (talk) 04:39, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
