- As no one seems to have done it yet and I have recently rewatched the anime and own the whole of the manga, I am preparing to do a substantial rewrite to this article. Smoothing over the language and information of most of the existing sections and greatly extending those dealing with the character's journey through the story as they are missing a lot of detail. Of course, it is possible that I take things too far the other way and use too much detail, as I am not yet clear on what level of detail is wished for in a page like this, so feel free to correct me on that. :) SpiritMuse (talk) 14:45, 29 December 2013 (UTC)

Director Satoshi Nishimura Meryl and Milly have when meeting hims and Meryl cannot believe the man travelling is the actual Vash. Those episodes are drawn from Meryl's point of view until the fifth from when Meryl realizes Vash is the gunner she often sees.[1]
