Trivialist wouldn't stop separating the "List of Releases" section from the "Resurrection (Vestron Video Collector's Series)" section and moving them under the "Subsidiaries" section, and also, he keeps removing the year "2016" from the infobox. He keeps botching up the page like a trainwreck. The Collector's Series line isn't a "subsidiary" of the old Vestron, and the list of releases section is for the Collector's Series Blu-ray and DVD releases, not the VHS releases from the original company itself. Can someone please revert the page to this revision? 153.203.47.52 (talk) 08:34, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

No, because that edit suggests that the company is back in business. Lionsgate reissuing Vestron videos is not a "revival" of the company. Trivialist (talk) 22:36, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Can someone please merge the "List of releases" section into the "Vestron Video Collector's Series" section, separate the merged section from the "Subsidiaries" section and rename it back to "Resurrection (Vestron Video Collector's Series)"? Also, can you please add "On August 1st, 2016," back at the beginning of the section's paragraph and, in the company infobox, add "(Original)" (after 1981) and "2016 (Revival)" back in the Foundation info and change the Defunct info from "1992" to "1992 to 2016" and the Fate info from "Acquired by Live Entertainment" to "Acquired by Live Entertainment (1992-2016)"? It needs to look like this. 103.215.225.14 (talk) 02:16, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Asked and answered above. 331dot (talk) 02:38, 24 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

If I may...

I heard about the dispute going on about whether the Vestron Video Collector's Series counts as a revival. I'm not sure myself if Vestron Video is a proper revival, albeit as a genre catalog label, or just a series of reissues, though I'm leaning towards the former due to titles more recent than Vestron, such as Return of the Living Dead III, being released on Blu-ray and DVD under the Vestron name. I'll have to get some Blu-rays from the lineup for myself just to be sure, of course. If I come back here with as solid evidence as possible for my position, e.g. perhaps Vestron's logo appearing in place of Lionsgate's, then could you at least consider the possibility of Vestron having been revived? Thank you for your time and consideration. (BTW I don't come here as often as I used to, but that's just because I have other priorities, such as looking for production and distribution logos on motion pictures and television programs, teaching myself different languages, etc.)--Ryanasaurus0077 (talk) 03:57, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I am curious about how you heard of this when you haven't edited in 6 months but I will just say just because the name and logo are reused by the current owners does not mean the company is 'revived', as stated by another user above. 331dot (talk) 08:26, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
And I do intend to verify what the case be on that count, sooner or later, and hopefully put the matter to rest definitively. --Ryanasaurus0077 (talk) 05:58, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ryanasaurus0077: You should check out this article that I just added as a ref; it explains things pretty well. Trivialist (talk) 11:16, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
Ah, so it's something more along the lines of The Criterion Collection. Interesting. --Ryanasaurus0077 (talk) 18:43, 10 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Add "Vestron Video Español (1988 - 1991)" to the list of Vestron Inc.'s subsidiaries

Add "Warlock" to the list of Vestron Video Collector's Series releases (Home video release is July 25, 2017) (Theatrical release is January 11, 1991) (Original Distributor is Trimark Pictures) Quongus (talk) 16:15, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Have any sources for these? Also, "Vestron Video Español" is probably just a sublabel of Vestron Video, not an actual subsidiary. Trivialist (talk) 19:32, 28 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
