Name change
editThe name of the railway station is Vijayawada. It is clearly written at the entrance to the station. See picture in the Infobox. Junction is a functional suffix, which is generally written on the yellow platform boards to guide passengers. I propose that this page be moved to 'Vijayawada railway station'. - Chandan Guha (talk) 01:27, 14 March 2013 (UTC)

- Hi....Guha, why railway station in LOWER case? why did`t U moved it to Vijayawada Railway Station? regards, DRAGON BOOSTER ★ 17:32, 8 April 2013 (UTC). Place a tb.
- Railway station is not part of the name. It is a common noun for identification of the page. Common nouns are generally in lower case. It is so written for most such pages in India and many other countries. See New Delhi railway station, Hyderabad Deccan railway station, Edinburgh Waverley railway station, Melbourne railway station, Cape Town railway station and so on. Cheers. - Chandan Guha (talk) 00:49, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
