Can we have a more detailed article? It talks nothing of his double centuries, or why he did not play any test after 24 or his magnificent First Class average of 59.6 |

Copy/paste?
editSomething looks a bit odd around this edit. The formatting of that schooldays etc section as it is now makes it look like a copy/paste from somewhere and, of course, the citation method is bizarre. I realise that this is likely to be the product of someone new to Wikipedia but I am unsure how to proceed because the wording is scattered all over the web, sometimes in obvious mirrors of Wikipedia and sometimes not. I don't have the time to see if this is a copy/paste from the article history (ie: reinstating something that was in the article previously). It needs to be sorted out, though. - Sitush (talk) 12:37, 15 July 2017 (UTC)
Caste
editI have removed the recently added content[1] which has been removed by others frequently.[2][3] There are no sources to confirm the caste of Vinod Kambli, and per WP:BLPCAT the caste has to be admitted by himself. I have tried to find better sources for this but whatever I have found[4][5] shows that Kambli is not actually a Dalit, but a fisherman caste. "Kambli, it appears, is from a fisherman caste and technically not Scheduled Caste", says this book. Capitals00 (talk) 17:08, 20 November 2017 (UTC)
