In update phase

edit

Im updating the stuff here and am trying to get some accurate information on the fleet and all so if you see it changed, do not be surprised.

I completely overhauled the history section - It now is in similar length to many international carriers and I also added a future section which I will expand on.

Additionally, many of the destinations presented will be updated, as some are seasonal and some are not served at all or are simply charter flights.

Soon, I will add sections on cabin style and services, which will be one of the last things I do.

Also, I have included the takeover of Dalavia routes and the subsequent formation of a focus city in Kharabovsk.--76.22.21.99 (talk) 23:06, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Update pretty much done. All it needs now are some pictures to even out the page and general destination monitering. --76.121.4.143 (talk) 19:41, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

B-class level achievied! Moving on.....--76.121.4.143 (talk) 04:04, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Question on routes

edit

Are they still planning on reopening the Frankfurt route? And on flying to Heraklion and Barcelona? Because there doesn't seem to be much on their site about it, and it's already 19 March. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.76.189.210 (talk) 20:32, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

I am having doubts about them re-opening Frankfurt-Hahn, its not showing up on their website or their route map. (Unlike the Komsomol-na-Amur which is)

The Barcelona, Iraklion, and Antalya routes are (they have served Barcelona in the summer before) probably seasonal flights or seasonal charter flights. Same goes with Dushanabe.

Their website is complicated to nagivate and they are very unclear when new routes start --24.17.66.32 (talk) 17:10, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Images of Planes

edit

I was editing and for some reason did not notice that I had started typing into the Image formating place.... I did not catch and then I saved the page. Unfortunatly when I went back to change it... I changed it too many times before going back to the history page. Once I was their and went to the original edit - It said that it could not be retrieved due to too many changes.

So, If anyone has a Vladivostok Air Tu-154 (prefarably in the new livery, seen on the A320 in the article) would be really great.

Additionally, if any VLK Tu-204-300s, Yakovlev Yak-40s, or even some of the VLK helicopter pictures are available... please put them into the article. --76.22.21.99 (talk) 00:01, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

I managed to get the Tu-154M in the old livery back up! But the request for other pictures is still needed.--76.22.21.99 (talk) 04:09, 21 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reassessment

edit

This article still needs citations. Many of the paragraphs have none. For example: "During World War II, Vladivostok Air's Po-2 planes carried supplies of lead-tin concentrates needed on the war's fronts and towards the end of the war, ammunition to the front lines." needs a reference.

Also, almost all of the wikilinks link to redirects: An-2, Po-2,IATA, etc. This isn't exactly wrong, but the first instance of each use should be fully spelled out. For example "During World War II, Vladivostok Air's Polikarpov Po-2 planes..."

Finally, the article mentions that in the 30s and 40s they flew the Lockheed U-2, which is a U.S. high-altitude surveillance aircraft from the 50s. - Trevor MacInnis contribs 20:32, 8 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

For your first statement..... The whole paragraph comes from the same reference, Vladivostok Air's History page, so Im not sure why I'd need to have that twice in the paragraph. For your second statement, I can fix that, and finally, for your third statement, someone (not me) added the link, but it obviously referes to a different U-2 plane. --76.121.4.143 (talk) 03:48, 10 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Tu-204 is shown in the fleet list as "Retired", which is highly unlikely Santamoly (talk) 08:07, 2 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I took one look at this article and wondered how it had passed B-class review. I have editted it to what I believe should pass B-class review. I shall have a look at the GA review request shortlyPetebutt (talk) 14:56, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
