Kidsco Media Ventures renamed?
editI noticed on the official site of Vortexx on the copyrights at the bottom, there is a company called Vortexx Entertainment Ventures LLC. I don't know if this is a new company altogether or could it be a rename of the Kidsco Media Ventures name. NoeG2012 talk to me, baby 01:40, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- It was almost certainly rebranded because they discovered the existence of another KidsCo. Digifiend (talk) 11:22, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I see. So should all references to Kidsco Media Ventures be changed to the new name or what should be done? NoeG2012 talk to me, baby 17:47, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Schedule can be added to the article?
editAre we going to put the first schedule on here? Not just list what the shows are on here. Or will this be added to it later? Or if this is a trivial section, then just tell me.
Schedule premieres on August 25th on your local CW! Like you didn't know that already...

I believe that adding the schedule would be a very good idea. This way, everybody reading the article would know which shows air in which order, and they would also know when to watch shows on Vortexx. LightandDark2000 (talk) 21:45, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry panicpack121 and LightandDark2000, Wikipedia is not a electronic program guide so we can't have a schedule in the article, list the shows in the order that they are aired in, how many episodes are air, and the ratings. Powergate92Talk 02:07, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Digimon? on Vortexx?
editWill Vortexx Been Airing Digimon Fusion (Xros Wars) Saban Brands Put it Under The English Logo Fusion And its in Their Rights Will it air on This Block or Another Block Lick Nicktoons I Wanna Know if Vortexx Will Air This Digimon Since Disney Lost Their Digimon Rights Digimon Fusion is Set to Air in Early 2013 An English Trailer Was Shown http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gk0Ws0U2VQ0 — Preceding unsigned comment added by LionelTheDeal (talk • contribs) 22:29, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
- It bugs me when the mods here just change things that are true. Fury Diamond (of Rangercrew, in contact with Saban Brands) confirmed it will air on Nick and Vortexx. Rangermon 16:35, 8 May 2013 (GMT) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.0.78.228 (talk)
- You know what bugs me? Well, we require reliable sources here. We don't have sources it'll air on this block yet because networks don't announce lineups for a few weeks. Thus, until we get a source it's going here, it stays out. "Fury Diamond of Rangercrew" is not a known source of anything. The press department of the CW and Saban are the only two sources that count here and until they say anything, this Digimon Fusion Xros Wars is not on Vortexx. Read up on our guidelines to understand why we have to keep it out. Nate • (chatter) 22:15, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

Evolution of the Yu-Gi-Oh! saga
editWhen will Yu-Gi-Oh! GX take the original Yu-Gi-Oh!'s place and air on Vortexx? Wikimaster 3 (talk) 02:43, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Although possible, it is highly doubtful. The most likely circumstance is that Vortexx will replace it with a different show after it airs for a little longer (especially since the entire series of Duel Monsters has aired once by now). LightandDark2000 (talk) 07:56, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
AT&T U-verse contract time
editWhen will AT&T U-verse have The CW? Because it's the only channel that has Vortexx. Wikimaster 3 (talk) 00:49, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
- That's a question for your local CW affiliate (which is a broadcast channel, not a cable network), something we can't answer here. Nate • (chatter) 02:06, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

Could you please revert the page back to the edit I had before all this began? This is important. Also, please change "was" back to "is" and remove the http://www.myvortexx.com website. OK? Thank you. AdamDeanHall (talk) 15:58, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
- Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the
{{edit protected}}
template. As one of the parties to the dispute, you need to demonstrate that a revert while the article is under full prot is within WP:PREFER. --Redrose64 (talk) 17:57, 27 September 2014 (UTC)- This opening section of this article left me confused until I realized it has factual errors. I find this outrageous that you would allow something so blatantly incorrect to remain there. --KaffirLemon (talk) 02:26, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
- Please tell us the factual errors and an admin can repair them while we're under full protection; frankly I'm appalled it even got to the point of a full-protect over silly edit warning about when it ended during its final airing. It's shameful and embarrassing. Nate • (chatter) 07:07, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Now that Vortexx is no more, could you please remove the http://www.myvortexx.com website from both the infobox and the external links section of this page? AdamDeanHall (talk) 13:41, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
- This seems to be precisely what the edit war was about, so I will need to see some consensus for this change. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 14:00, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
We should leave the link for historical purposes. Even if it isn't an active project, it's website address is historically significant.--Adam in MO Talk 06:15, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

For the "Former Programs" section, please add a spacing at the end of the dash in "The New Adventures of Nanoboy" column to make the formatting be consistent. LightandDark2000 (talk) 10:15, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

Please don't edit war
editJust because the protection was lifted doesn't mean it is time for the edit war to restart. --Adam in MO Talk 03:40, 6 October 2014 (UTC)
- It looks to me like an edit war IS imminent because some users keep adding the My Vortexx website in both the infobox section and the external links section when it is already defunct. AdamDeanHall (talk) 13:44, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- If you insist on edit warring instead of engaging in communication it all most certainly will result in your block. The website should stay because it adds information to the article. We don't delete archival information about a subject when the subject is no longer active. I have started a topic at the help desk regarding this issue here. --Adam in MO Talk 16:10, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- It might just be a landing page for now, but from past experience, usually unless someone forgot to pay the bill and it goes to a domain squatter or is sending out viruses, we usually keep the link; eventually it'll link to the Saban page, for instance. There's all kinds of silly warring going on here and it needs to be sorted out. Nate • (chatter) 16:45, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- I can't find any policy regarding the issue. Most of the policy on link rot relates to citations. I have added a link from the wayback machine and I removed the external links section. Hopefully this closes the issue. --Adam in MO Talk 16:57, 7 October 2014 (UTC)
- That is what we've done in the past with some block articles, good solution there. Nate • (chatter) 19:09, 7 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks, Nate Schimpf, for your editions of this article. I don't think I could have fixed the mess as well as you just did. I hope you will go add your reasoning to the comments sections of those prominent outside sources along with mine. I don't think I would enjoy NBC Kids as much as the Vortexx line-up, but nonetheless, it should not be ignored, and I think you finished the trick here (added more clarification to the adjustments I had already made). If only the other articles had figured the situation out the way you did...!
(I'll have to pay some real attention to the NBC Kids line-up this Saturday and see just haw "educational" all 3 hours there really are....)

Formal request has been received to merge Toonzai into Vortexx from 100.7.44.80 (talk). Rationale given by proposer: These two programming blocks are generally considered to be one and the same, with Vortexx considered to be a continuation of Toonzai. Please discuss the proposed merge below. Felix QW (talk) 14:20, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
- I would certainly want to see some WP:Reliable sources saying the same thing before I would agree with a merger proposition... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 18:20, 8 June 2023 (UTC)
- Who considers them to be the same? Four Vortexx shows were holdovers but the block still had a new branding, new management, new ownership. There was programming from Kids WB that transitioned to CW4Kids/Toonzai but those are two separate pages as well. Aresef (talk) 02:38, 11 June 2023 (UTC)
