The expression Walter of Guiyock's curse, or Cuming of Guiyock's curse, is one that is often encountered in old Scottish literature. Since it has, more or less completely, passed out of regular usage, it is in danger of being forgotten, rendering it patent nonsense to anyone not familiar with old Scottish and Border usage, and rendering the literary student's study that much more difficult. Along the same lines, I found a similar account via Google. Since it doesn't qualify for speedy deletion, I removed the tag.
