Expansion
editI noticed that this article was a stub and the author had assumed the Warner and Swasey Observatory was defunct. As this is not the case and only the Taylor Road facility was discontinued in use, I have revamped the article. Andromeda321 03:11, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the expansion! Actually, I didn't assume anything, someone else put in that it was defucted. Thanks again.--Rayc 05:24, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
This is the best of all the stubs I planted back in December, so I'm sending it off to peer review then to Good articles. Thanks Andromeda!--Rayc 21:39, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ok, I reformatted the article based on some suggestions from the peer review. Anything else to add? Andromeda321 00:04, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
The first sentence of "Rooftop Telescope": "The Rooftop Telescope is a 9.5" refractor that was originally constructed in the late twentieth century by Warner and Swasey for their own use" is clearly incorrect, since they both died in the first half of the twentieth century.74.132.224.50 09:43, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

There are many dead links. I fixed what I could with WP:CHECKLINKS. Overall the referencing is entirely inadequate. All that is currently covered is the discoveries made by the observatory.
