- The references should at the least cite the source that you employed for the content of the article. If the article was based upon the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica, then it should employ the handy template that we have for producing the very citation that should be in the article. See Wikipedia:Template messages/Sources of articles. If some other source was employed, then one of the generic citation templates should be used to cite that source.
