Merge with Washington Wizards discussion
editWhy is this a stand-alone page? Believe the franchise simply had a name change at conclusion of the 1996/97 NBA season when known as the Washington Bullets, then was renamed for 1997/98 season as Washington Wizards. If correct, seems like a merge. If incorrect, needs better explanation of these years, the name change, and why this is a stand-alone page.
- Support: all other sports franchises (for which I'm aware) are merged on the same page, whether the organization changes name, city, etc.--Chimino (talk) 10:46, 3 December 2012 (UTC)
