relation to Zane Grey
editThis is said to be the third movie based on the novel by Zane Grey. The novel appeared in 1937, the first movie in 1922 and the second in 1934. The first movie is listed as written by Neal Hart with no reference to Zane Grey and the plot seems to be different, from what I can tell from searching the web. I'm guessing that the novel might be better described as a novelization of the 1934 script, or was the novel just waiting to be published? Can anyone help? TomS TDotO (talk) 15:09, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
- I have discovered that the Zane Grey story first appeared in serial form in The American Magazine, starting in 1931, which clarifies the questions that I raised. TomS TDotO (talk) 13:32, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
