Tang's Whereabouts
editI noticed that the comment about Tang dying has been deleted, has there been any information about him post 1985? Surely there must be some evidence of him doing something else since then, it just seems to have gone cold. --Guru Larry (talk) 09:03, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the comment because it was unencyclopedic original research. If you can find a reputable source discussing his whereabouts, feel free to add it to this article.-- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 11:39, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Is he of Chinese ancestry? Drutt (talk) 15:56, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Tang is currently living in Australia, spending his time and money doing God's work. He is employed part time by Monash and Melbourne University —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eikoto (talk • contribs) 08:59, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

- I have moved it to William Tang (video game designer) regardless, as that was not the move that was proposed nor opposed and I feel this simple parenthetical-DAB fix is uncontroversial. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 14:45, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
William Tang (video game author) → William Tang – Unnecessary disambiguation Joeykai (talk) 20:16, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Question - User:Joeykai who are the other "William Tang"s mentioned in Google Books? In ictu oculi (talk) 23:02, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose evidently William Tang (fashion designer) of the 1990s appears to be the most mentioned, so have created a bio stub and a dab at the baseline William Tang. The omission perhaps reflects gender bias in our editor base? In ictu oculi (talk) 23:29, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
- zh:邓达智 should link to the fashion designer on wikidata, was mislinking to the game designer, hopfully fixed now. In ictu oculi (talk) 00:07, 1 February 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose, per WP:TWODABS. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 04:22, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose move to William Tang per Tbhotch, but Support move to a better parenthetical DAB - "
video game author
" is not a thing, and no other articles use it. William Tang (game designer) (or William Tang (video game designer)) would be the most consistent with general usage, with William Tang (video game developer) as a second choice. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 15:07, 5 February 2015 (UTC)
