Incident
editThanks to user:Sandstein:
Thanks for helping me to improve this article, which had been neglected in the past.
Some Chinese internet bloggers had stated that 2008 Guizhou riot, Yang Jia, and Deng Yujiao incident mark the beginning of Chinese Online mass incident, an article I have tried to start on my sandbox. Please let me know what you think. Arilang talk 07:47, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks! Could you provide a link to your sandbox? Sandstein 10:44, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Fails NPOV
editThis article is written like a tribute to the criminal, emphasizing the adoration he gets from anonymous bloggers, while completely disregarding the victims of his crime. It's a shame that an article that fails WP:NPOV like this was featured on WP:DYK. -Zanhe (talk) 08:19, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- Well, it's written based on what we know about him and what's been written about him in reliable sources, which also emphasize the public attention he's gotten. What changes do you propose, specifically? Sandstein 08:34, 25 July 2013 (UTC)

Torture
editHi all,
I'm new to editing Wikipedia but I recently found this video on Twitter showing Yang Jia being tortured in what appears to be a Chinese interrogation chair. I think this may be relevant to mention in the article. The article does mention that he was "insulted during the interrogation and beaten" but certainly does not describe torture as this video evidences. I'm not sure if this torture happened when he was first detained for his bicycle registration or if it happened while being detained for the stabbings. Here is the video: https://twitter.com/mfuzdoeqroucp0q/status/1206722193297534977?s=21
