Another Thing/Think?

edit

There doesn't seem to be an article on here about the idiom. I was wondering which one is correct.--Jcvamp 18:16, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's an odd claim, and seems on the face of it to be wrong. What authority can you cite to back it up? TypoBoy (talk) 00:43, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
This article clears up the Thing/Think confusion in the third paragraph of the intro, with references. This was added in March 2011. "Think" came first, predating "Thing" by about 20 years.Dutchmonkey9000 (talk) 17:29, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't prove anything except that there are earlier cites for one than the other. It's possible the other was in use but just never got cited or cites were lost or some other thing happened. Particularly since this is like 100+ years ago.76.226.122.139 (talk) 00:57, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

This article is not the place to argue this one way or another. I removed the whole part talking about it because it was clearly original research. DreamGuy (talk) 02:42, 17 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

It seems to me that there ought to be at least a notation that somebody has noticed! Since the lyrics do make "think" the first reference, this is clearly a common but distorted version of the original idiom (Etiology here:http://grammarist.com/usage/another-think-coming/. Fair use rationale for Image:JP YGATC Picture Disc.jpg

edit

Image:JP YGATC Picture Disc.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Cover version by Saxon

edit

I suggest to name the cover version by Saxon. I have to admit that I don´t know on which album it was published first time. However, you can watch the song performed on "To Hell and back again" (double dvd, live) or take a look at Youtube.
