about the student council president
editI didn't see the manga but the anime, from it Ayano is the vice-president (which is mentioned in ep.2) and Chitose is unknown though it's sure that she's a member of student council. and the girl in the middle of the photo that appears in ep.2 is the real president seems named Rise Matsumoto. so I think it should be corrected.--218.25.39.4 (talk) 08:00, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
main protaganist
editI don't think there's really a single main character in this series. Akari being the main character was more of a joke, as was the second episode preview that implies it's Kyouko. This is more clear in the manga where three of them are introduced at once. Watchkrow (talk) 11:29, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
I agree. It's very clear in the manga that they are all the main characters, with Akari as the sole main character being a gag. The main four are the main four for a reason. ZuljinRaynor (talk) 19:39, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
The name
editThe Name Is transalated Easy Yuri, but Yuri also means Lesbian, It is a double meaning.... as this is clearly the young lesbian, and fan of lesbian genre, so should not the opening translation of the name include "Easy Lesbian" Not just "Easy Yuri"??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Therubicon (talk • contribs) 14:48, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Since yuri doesn't directly translate to lesbian I think it would be strange to do so, and it would also lose much of its meaning. I would say that yuri is a viable term for refering to lesbian content. Watchkrow (talk) 18:00, 11 January 2012 (GMT)
Genres
editOk, I'm getting tired of seeing this edit war go on about the genres. Since the genres are disputed, reliable sources are required to establish that the series belong in a particular genre. Because without such sources, editors are injecting their own personal opinion and interpretations. —Farix (t | c) 20:39, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- Well that's the problem with Wikipedia. It seems a decent amount of the anime page editors just force their own opinion on the genre and don't follow the rules and back up with sources. If this war can't be settled here, well people in power will have to take care of it.--iGeMiNix 20:49, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- The only genres that I found that are mentioned in any of the sources is "comedy"[1] and "slice of life"[2] I am surprised at the lack of a Reception section so far as reviews would give more details about genres. However, the silliness of the edit war with editors basing their additions of certain genres on their own original research and not bother to find a reliable source to support their inclusion does need to stop. I'm not sure what part of WP:PROVEIT that they don't understand when it comes to disputed genres. —Farix (t | c) 21:40, 23 September 2012 (UTC)
- To settle the matter of if Yuri is a genre or not, JManga, who officially releases the series in English, categorises it under the Yuri section. [3] So yeah, that's officially sourced. Wonchop (talk) 23:42, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
- Well, finally there is a conclusion and none of this needs to keep going.--iGeMiNix 23:51, 9 October 2012 (UTC)
This article reads more like TV tropes than wikipedia.
Like how
The Student Council vice-president who is often *not too honest with her feelings* for Kyōko
- Links to "tsundere"
Plus konata from Lucky star is mentioned with no explanation
I like it though — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.242.253.206 (talk) 22:46, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
Change leading picture?
editThe picture for Volume 1 is pretty old. Namori has since then updated v1 cover herself, perhaps it would be best to show a newer image as the leading picture
