The Rani
editUnsubstantiated?? The Sun has quite a good track record of predicting future Doctor Who events. Is there any reason why we should doubt them now? -- EmiOfBrie 22:05, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Trivia
editAdded {{trivia}} tag, as some of that is - as I said in the edit summary - fluff even by trivia lists' standards. Who cares about her fitness video? Unless, that is, it was a real hit, for which we need a reference that isn't a PR puff. 86.149.1.65 03:08, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Chars tt p16.jpg
editImage:Chars tt p16.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Rani
edit- In August 2006 the sun published an article saying that she was going to be in the 2007 series of Doctor Who as the villain The Rani, however this was proven wrong as she didn't appear in the show, However there was a hand than appeared by The Masters cremated corpse, so she may appear later in the series.
Uh...I think this is even more trivial than trivia needs to be. And grammatically incorrect. And speculation that really has no reasonable backing. Andral 04:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
I read online yesterday that there are fresh talks about Gillian Anderson (X Files) possibly playing the Rani - Zoe Lucker would be so much better..... Lee Chaplin —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.194.32.58 (talk) 12:05, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Year of Birthday
editThere seems to be some doubt of her year of birth. Many other websites (IMDB, Hello) have it as 1974 and the source for it is ancestry.com but no link. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.6.43.216 (talk) 19:04, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks. The infobox date was vandalised, I have reset it to 1974 as per rest of article. Keith D (talk) 20:08, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
"Zöe"?
editSurely that should be Zoë, unless it's an umlaut and her name is pronounced "Zoo-uh". 91.85.32.166 (talk) 10:33, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps her parents got it wrong. A lot of people with the name are just "Zoe" which is just as wrong. Zöe Salmon also spells it this way. –anemoneprojectors– 16:45, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
- "Z̈oe" would surely be worse.Kelisi (talk) 00:43, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
