B-class review

For WP:POLAND - passed. I think this may be nominated for a Good Article, see WP:GAN. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:54, 13 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

date of birth and pen name

edit

The date of birth is March 15, 1917, as reported in the official documents filed in the archives of the University of Warsaw. Sara Ginzburg is NOT her pen name. Her pen name is Zuzanna Ginczanka. Her real name was Zuzanna Polina Gincburg (not Ginzburg!), as reported in the same documents cited above. I tried to change this incorrect information, but the system rejected my changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.15.183.0 (talk) 15:45, 5 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Length

edit

This is an intriguing and compelling story that I think could be of interest to English-language readers, perhaps as a TFA or DYK. However, I'd strongly suggest that it be streamlined and shortened substantially. At 8,600 words, and with so many long paragraphs, it presents a daunting prospect to non-Polish readers. (Oddly enough, the Polish WP article is much shorter.) Sca (talk) 16:12, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Date of birth again

edit

I am in no position to judge the validity here, but I wanted to preserve for other editors a pointer to this edit, which changed the article in the following way: instead of listing three possible dates of birth (with three different sources), it now lists a different (fourth) date, together with a different (fourth) source. (The other three sources are still used elsewhere in the article.) --JBL (talk) 13:51, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Thanks for commenting. The new source seems credible by the look of it, however, the dates in question can also be preserved in the ==Footnotes== {{notelist}} by using {{efn|.....}} tag in the bodytext. Will do, Poeticbent talk 16:02, 3 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
