1994 Peshawar school bus hijack in Pakistan
edit- ... that in 1994, 3 gunmen kidnapped 73 schoolchildren and 7 teachers in the 1994 Peshawar school bus hijacking?

- This article is new enough and long enough. The hook is acceptable and the article is neutral, but Earwig finds a 58.8% likelihood of copyright violation, and I agree. Some sentences are quotes, but others are not. It would also be interesting to know the outcome. What happened to the kidnappers? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:19, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, that could be. At first, however, the page was mostly all copy and pasted from various websites, which I tried to clean up. I am not sure what happened to the kidnappers. They might have been ignored and not prosecuted, but one would have to dig deeply for a source on that. Thank you, Damibaru (talk) 13:39, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
- Damibaru, please note that you are expected to address the issues raised, such as the copyright problems. It has been nearly a week, by which point we expect some sort of action, and while you have been active elsewhere on Wikipedia, you have not returned to this nomination. I hope you will do so soon, so the nomination can proceed. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:17, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- I am sorry it took me so long. I have been very busy the past few days, undertaking some overly stressful thespian endeavor. I went through changed cleaned up things, changed words, etc., so there might be less likelihood of copyright problems. I do not know how to run Earwig, though, so I can't tell. I still cannot find the outcome, other sources, or more. Cited sources use material from Reuters and BBC, but I cannot find anything on their website archives. Some of the statistics previously mentioned have been deleted, for lack of updated sources. Damibaru (talk) 18:28, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- The article has now been tagged for "Investigation of potential copyright issue" and is no longer suitable for DYK. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:04, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
