Arms and the Dudes

edit

Moved to mainspace by Captain Assassin! (talk). Self nominated at 03:42, 18 March 2015 (UTC).

  • It has been four weeks since submission, and a QPQ has still not been supplied. Captain Assassin!, please supply one in the next week if you wish this to be considered. I've struck the initial hook as it seems to be solely an in-universe description—even if this is a "true story", it's going to be fictionalized to a certain extent (dialogue, for example)—which is not allowed under DYK rules. This also needs a significant copyedit; there are a number of sentence fragments and unexplained surnames, and that simply isn't adequate for an article that has been submitted to appear on the main page. • Captain Assassin!, I'm glad the QPQ is done, but while DYKcheck confirms that the article is long enough at 1676 prose characters and new enough (nominated the day after it was moved from Draft space to mainspace), you still haven't addressed the copyedit issue, which remains significant. The rest of the review depends on the final form of the article, post-copyedit. Please take care of this soon. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:56, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
  • There is no citation for the fact that the film is a true story. In fact, in sources I looked at, the film was called a "crime comedy" and a "black comedy". Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:13, 4 May 2015 (UTC)
  • This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts now have inline citations, the article is neutral and I detected no close paraphrasing. Good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:03, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
