- - Rules require the hook be directly sourced by inline citations in the article. I can see the info, but it is not apparent what the source is. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 09:24, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ref 8 supports it. :) ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 10:01, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- - Article meets date and length requirements, and is sourced throughout. Hook is interesting and sourced. Most of the sources are primary, but most of the info sourced to them is statistical, and articles in Priyo news are enough to establish notability. I'd prefer that more reliable secondary sources are found to shore-up the data, but that's not enough to trip it up here. Good to go. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 10:15, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
- Can we not highlight the country's futility on MainPage, please? We should avoid these "negative light" hooks. It's almost like a BLP violation (may be too strong a word here). --PFHLai (talk) 17:40, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- The focus on the negative aspect is not undue. You might prefer to suggest a alternative, but I don't think that this hook has any problem. And BLP hardly goes here, because it not a biographical article. :) ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 17:51, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- Pls note that I used the word "almost". There is no policy violation, but the hook is not nice. --PFHLai (talk) 17:59, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- Is it possible to have a hook about the competitors? --PFHLai (talk) 21:44, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
- ALT2- ... that Bangladesh's (flag pictured) delegation for the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games consisted of four officials and four competitors? ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 00:55, 14 May 2012 (UTC)
- I don't see an inline source that supports the four officials mentioned in ALT2, though I do greatly prefer it to the original. In fact, the first sentence in the Delegation section should have a citation. Ref 10 mentions all four athletes, but not in such a way as to confirm that these were the only athletes. Perhaps this new citation, which lists all the events Bangladesh entered in 2011, is sufficient to establish exactly four athletes. Ref 9 does say that the eight-person delegation is coming home, but that doesn't necessarily confirm that the other four are "officials". A wording that fits the cited facts could mention a delegation of eight, four of whom were competitors, though the new citation should be added to the article to establish this. - ... that Bangladesh (flag pictured) sent four athletes to the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games, which was a decline from their last appearance at the Games, when ten athletes were sent? ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ Talk Email 09:44, 16 May 2012 (UTC)
