- Unfortunately, while a significant expansion was done, it was not a fivefold expansion, starting at 17390 prose characters and going to 29091 prose characters. So the article is not eligible for DYK. In addition, the article has templates indicating that a number of sections are unsourced, and DYK requires a minimum of one inline source per paragraph. Finally, the hook is too vague to be interesting: excavations can be done for any number of reasons, and happen just about everywhere. Best of luck in your next DYK submission: you'll want to check the DYK criteria to be sure it qualifies. (Also, be sure to transclude your nomination next time!)
