  • Good to go. Expansion ok, refs ok, Hook ok, Chienlit (talk) 09:26, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
  • None of the hook facts have direct inline citations: the thirteen years at Surfing Magazine is the clearest omission, but even Carter's creation of each of the two programs is not obviously cited in the parts of the text that describe them. All three hook facts need to be obviously cited right after the statements in the article about them. BlueMoonset (talk) 14:47, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
I generally avoid repeating the same reference several times consecutively; if a fact is present then the next citation used is the one that supports this. I've now duplicated the relevant citations at the key phrases here but it seems a needlessly fiddly way of going about things. Refs 3, 12 and 17 are the ones being used here. • For DYK, sourcing needs to be clear for hook facts, and the magazine citation wasn't at all clear, since the subsequent citation seemed to be covering the quote about pottery, a far cry from magazine work. We ask for inline citations of the hook facts, plus a minimum of one citation per article paragraph; that isn't onerous, even if clarity may require a little duplication.
  • DYK hook citation requirement met; hook approved and offline sources accepted in good faith. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:07, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
