- Begin review Article is new enough and long enough. Not a stub. Article is neutral and well referenced. Image is relevant and under a free licence. Small adjustment to hooks. Both hooks are correctly formatted. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:05, 11 August 2017 (UTC) AGF on offline sources. No copyvios or close paraphrasing detected. Hooks are correctly formatted and have inline cite. The archive.org ref is dead to me but I verified that Gollings was the illustrator from WorldCat. The third image in the gallery appears to show the lynching of a black man. Both of the hooks are rather weak. Why not say something about the book being based on her experiences of running a ranch in eastern Wyoming? I will hold off ticking in the hope of a better hook. - "The third image in the gallery appears to show the lynching of a black man" no, is actually the same man you see in the other images, I suppose the husband, and he is alive in the final picture, so I suppose he survived the lynching. As for the hooks, I do not think the fact she was the first woman owning a drugstore in Wyoming (when it was a pioneers land) is weak... actually I like it very much, but what about

that E. Joy Johnson, author of The Foreman of the J.A.6. on her experience owning a ranch in frontierland, was among the first women in Wyoming owning a drug store?Elisa.rolle (talk) 23:00, 16 August 2017 (UTC)
- I struggle to understand how owning a drug store in a particular state or being one of the first women so to do, not even the first, is remotely interesting or important. There's also no connection between the two parts of the hook. How about dropping that and just saying the book was based on her experiences of owning a ranch? I am sure people would be interested in what it was like to run a western ranch. (more interesting than a drug store probably!) I accept your assurances about the content of the picture.
