- ... that when asked about the transcript of the "smoking gun" tape Earl Landgrebe (pictured) said "Don't confuse me with the facts. I've got a closed mind. I will not vote for impeachment."? Pearson, Richard (July 1, 1986). "Obituaries". The Washington Post. Retrieved November 20, 2019.

- Thanks for expanding the article. However the article is not eligible as it has not been expanded by 5x (i.e. new enough per WP:DYKRULES). The article was 2,812 before your edit and is currently 3,428. It would need to be over 10,000 which is not possible. Cowlibob (talk) 16:23, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- Note, Jon698, that you still have the option of bringing it to Good Article status; if you do so, you may renominate it for DYK within a week of the GA designation. It would be good to have such an interesting and relevant hook! MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 20:37, 18 December 2019 (UTC)
- Noting further that the article has been expanded since the above, and is now at 4,612 prose characters. As this is still far short of the 14,060 required (2,812 × 5), and less than a third of the length it would need to be, the nomination will likely be closing shortly, unless Jon698 posts that they think they can add another 9,448 prose characters in fairly short order. - Okay so I been looking further and now the article is at 5,687 prose characters and I think that I can get it past the 14,060 prose characters. I only need to add another 8,373 prose characters and I will comment further on my ability to get it past that. UPDATE: I am now only 5,631 prose characters away from reaching the requirement and I still have four pages of stuff in google doc to pull from so I think it is very likely that I will get it either today or tomorrow. SECOND UPDATE: Only 2,964 more prose characters needed. Jon698 (talk) 23:17, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for your hard work on this article! Very impressive, I've changed the icon accordingly. Ready for new review. Cowlibob (talk) 20:28, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
