- Shouldn't the sentence structure be something like ... that Elvis' Greatest Shit was released in 1982?. Article is new, long, and properly cited. Samar Talk 19:12, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- A natural for next April Fool's Day. --Arxiloxos (talk) 16:18, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

- Hehe, I like the double meaning there. For April Fools we can hold it as long as we want (and yeah, I was thinking of holding it when I saw the article being discussed at WP:AN. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 22:38, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Using "released" in the hook takes away from the humor in the line. If it had to be expanded, I would suggest using:
- ... that Elvis' Greatest Shit was dropped in 1982? - Theornamentalist (talk) 00:12, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- That is even better, LOL. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 02:08, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- for the alternate. Do you wish to hold it for fool's day then? Samar Talk 06:18, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- Yes sir (?) yes sir, three bags full. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 06:26, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
- nope, I am from the fairer gender
- *Raise cap* ma'am
- nope, I am from the fairer gender
- Since the release of a record is sometimes referred to as its being "dropped", how about changing "released" to "dropped"? Cbl62 (talk) 05:10, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
