  • Hi @Luizengmec: To get an article at DYK it has to be new, exanded by a factor of 5 or a new GA in the last 7 days. This article is fine but it doesnt meet our criteria. Victuallers (talk) 16:39, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi @Victuallers: I didn't understand. It is not new, but could it be a other category? Luizengmec (talk) 20:29, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
Thats cool, its not obvious @Luizengmec:. However I don't want to be unfriendly - this area welcomes new entrants and I'll try and explain what is possible. You could convert Emil into a Good Article and come back when youve done it. Easier routes are to write a new very well referenced article of more than 1,500 characters of new and original pure text in a sandbox and come back here when its ready. The third route is to find a small article (stub) and count the characters.... and then expand in to 5x the size. I can help with this but I'm not good at creatimg a GA .... but I'm sure we could find a guide if you wanted to take that route to DYK glory. Is that enough? • Article is not new, has not been recently expanded, and is not a new GA. Unfortunately, that means it is not eligible for DYK. As noted, the nominator can always take the article through the GA process and, if successful, can nominate it within seven days of passage, but that is the only way it could become eligible. Best of luck with your future endeavors; as Victuallers noted, a guide could certainly be found if you want to try with a new article or by expanding an article to five times its original prose text size.
