  • Claiming for review (with a preliminary reference for the first hook), but right now there are two issues with the article: one statement has a citation needed tag, while the article has a stub template. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 10:35, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
  • @Narutolovehinata5: Ok, I've fixed those two issues. Please let me know if there are other issues.VR talk 15:37, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
Still needs some copyediting, I can see some typos in the article. As the personal life section is a single short sentence and the information (that Shakir is Muslim) is already mentioned elsewhere in the article, it can probably be deleted. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:41, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: What are the typos you see? I looked for typos, but couldn't find any English-language typos. I also tried using this typo checker. And I've removed that one word section.VR talk 02:47, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
It seems some of the others already got fixed, but at least one did not: "Upon joining Bernie Sanders 2020 presidential campaign" lacks a "the" before Bernie. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 11:27, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
@Narutolovehinata5: Ok, I've fixed that.VR talk 14:19, 26 February 2019 (UTC)
  • Thanks, giving this a full review. The article is new enough and long enough. Most information is sourced, hook facts are interesting, cited inline and verified (ALT0 is probably the best option, though one possibility would be to combine ALT0 and ALT1 and mention both him being Muslim and being of Pakistani descent). A QPQ has been performed. There are only three issues that are preventing me from approving this: the date of birth lacks a reference, a comma should go before "Shakir worked as a communications aide", and in the fourth paragraph of the Career section, his surname is mentioned too many times (and is even misspelled as "Shaker" in one instance!); suggesting some or all be replaced with just "he". @Narutolovehinata5: Thanks! I fixed all 3 problems.VR talk 06:14, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
