- By DYK rules, images that are not in the article may not be used in the nomination. This needs to be settled before getting to the promotion stage. The nominator has the choice of adding the image to the article, changing the image to one that is in the article, or removing the image from the nomination, but something must be done before the nomination can win final approval.
