Heejung Kim
- ... that researcher Heejung Kim found that the influence of the oxytocin receptor (OXTR) gene on social behavior depends on social context? Source: "Just as a production defines a play, environments and cultures alter the effects of certain genes. Heejung Kim from the University of California has discovered a great example of this effect by studying a gene called OXTR (or the ‘oxytocin receptor’, in full). . . Kim looked at a specific version of the OXTR gene, whose carriers are allegedly more social and sensitive. But this link between gene and behaviour depends on culture; it exists among American people, who tend to look for support in troubled times, but not in Korean cultures, where such support is less socially acceptable."

- @Gerda Arendt: My DYK nom has been sitting unreviewed for a long time & I think it's gotten buried at this point. Someone suggested that I ask you if you would be willing to take a look at it. If you don't have the time, do you have a recommendation for how I can get it back on the radar? QuakerSquirrel (talk) 18:12, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- If I saw her at all - which I doubt - I may have thought that someone with a more scientific background would be better. Please get rid of the orphan tag. I don't have time right now - rehearsal night - but if nobody beats me to it, I may eventually review. I need a reviewer for Nocturnes (Debussy), three months old, hint hint ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:23, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- ps: for next time: if you want to attract me, dont write so much source, telling me that I won't understand any of it ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:25, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
- This article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues (Earwig was unavailable). A QPQ has been done and I have added the other two editors to the credits. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 20:03, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
