Isshin-ji

edit
  • Reviewed: The Source (Ingres)
  • Comment: Could reserve for 21 April, date of the special annual ceremony, but doesn't matter too much.

Created/expanded by Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk). Self nom at 15:12, 2 March 2012 (UTC)

  • Question: Are all the statues of Amida? The hook so far isn't explicitly in the text. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:05, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
That is correct; have checked and amended, thanks, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 10:04, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
  • Hook: Short enough, interesting, AGF on foreign language citation.
Article: New enough, long enough, referencing is thorough. I'd prefer to see more formatting in the references. For example, a language parameter for all Japanese sources. AGF on paraphrasing because of foreign and offline sources.
Reference formatting. Crisco 1492 (talk) 11:49, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Parameter added for translated titles (being those which would benefit most through images those who cannot read the text); Japanese language titles usefully retained for eg Municipal Cultural Properties, since these are the official designations, and it would not be helpful to clutter up the article with long chunks of Japanese, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 12:34, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
  • If you use "|trans_title=" as a parameter in your reference templates, you can keep the original titles and give English titles as well. Use title= for the Japanese title and trans_title for English. Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:19, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks; but tempus fugit, de minimis non curat lex, perhaps sufficient in this instance? Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 13:40, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
  • If this were Indonesian or French, I'd do it myself. We should have fairly complete citations. Crisco 1492 (talk) 13:56, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
[1] 'So whatever they say to you, do it and obey, but do not act according to their deeds, for they say and do not do' (Matthew 23.3). What do I see in the case of your very own nomination: references without publishers; none wikilinked (reliable sources?); don't get me started... ;-) Sufficient in this instance? Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 15:11, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Oh go on then; switched from a mobile device to one where such edits are easier to make; hopefully now compliant? (And thanks, hadn't used that reference parameter before, looks good), Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 16:36, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
  • It does look good, as does this article. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:58, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
