Jens-Christian Wagner
- ... that in November 2020, German historian Jens-Christian Wagner was investigated by prosecutors for publishing a book about the war crimes of the German military? - Just a comment, but wouldn't this hook fall afoul of WP:BLP? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:44, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that this incident reflects badly on the prosecutor's office rather than on Wagner. He stated in an interview:
(t · c) buidhe 09:48, 1 December 2020 (UTC)“I assume the case will be closed because it is so absurd and if it isn’t closed, then good, we will discuss the crimes of the Wehrmacht in court. But it is worrying that it has recently become socially acceptable in Germany to cast doubt on historical facts about the Third Reich such as the crimes of the Wehrmacht.”[1]

- Interesting life and work, on fine sources, subscription sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The hook is fine by me, making curious. If you want to say something instead about the quite unique things he researched, also fine, I'll watch. I'd like an infobox, and think the relation of the first image below his to the content remains unclear. You decide. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:25, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
- Another option for a hook: (t · c) buidhe 20:10, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that memorial director Jens-Christian Wagner blames Alternative for Germany for the increase in heckling at former Nazi concentration camps in recent years? - Gerda, the ALT0 hook is a BLP violation. Could you review ALT1 please? Yoninah (talk) 21:31, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Did you read the hook or also the discussion about that investigation's absurdity? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:37, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- Yes. But just on the face of it, it looks like a negative statement about a living person. If it's important to say this, maybe more words could be added to indicate it was a spurious investigation. But I do like ALT1. Yoninah (talk) 23:18, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
- You can argue with the author, and approve ALT1, which would need a link to the party. Past bedtime. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 23:37, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

- Gerda Arendt, it's been another three weeks. If you aren't coming back, we'll try to find a new reviewer, but it would help to know for sure. Ping to Yoninah; would you be willing/able to take over? Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 21:32, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

- FWIF, I don't see the statement as a BLP problem --Guerillero Parlez Moi 22:58, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
- based on Gerda's review, I am approvinbg Alt1. --evrik (talk) 23:01, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
