- Currently the article is not quite long enough, at 1285 characters, so it will have to be expanded some more to be eligible for DYK. Also note that every paragraph requires at lease one inline citation per DYK rules. The image's page on Commons is unclear about whether it can be used on Wikipedia so unless that is resolved I would recommend running the hook without the image. 97198 (talk) 11:55, 4 June 2014 (UTC)
- This article is new enough and now long enough. The licensing of the image is dubious so I would advise against using it. The hook fact is cited to a Swedish language source. QPQ has been done and the DYK criteria are met. However I felt the article would be less confusing if it clarified the race/country issues; the lead states that he was born in Colombia and the text states "he lived in an Indian village" which implies he is still in Colombia, which is not the case. The use of the term "Sami" does not help me because I am not familiar with it whereas "Lapp" would have meaning to me. Could this be clarified in the article?
