Kłodzko Synagogue
... that the burnt Kłodzko Synagogue was reconstructed as a sculpture?- ALT1:
... that a synagogue was reconstructed under the motto Synagoga Reviva?
- ALT1:
Created by Kelvin (talk). Self-nominated at 22:19, 13 November 2019 (UTC).
- Date, size, refs, neutrality, copyvio spotcheck, GTG. QPQ not needed (creator's first DYK). There are some minor language issues in the body but nothing serious. ALT1 is wrong (the synagogue wasn't reconstructed, there is just the model-sculpture. (Plus it it also less interesting IMHO than the first one). One could quibble that the synagogue wasn't reconstructed and that the word is imprecise for the main hook. I'd recommend the following ALT2 instead:--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here
- ALT2
... that the Kłodzko Synagogue destroyed in 1938 during the Kristallnacht has been commemorated in a sculpture model?
- The hook ALT2 I find very good. I added 2 references to the article. Kelvin (talk) 20:44, 15 November 2019 (UTC)
- I don't see what's hooky about ALT2. The Diaspora Museum in Tel Aviv has a whole room of miniature synagogue models; I would image other Jewish museums have the same. If some colorful detail could be added about the sculpture, ALT2 might work. Yoninah (talk) 16:45, 23 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: The synagogue at the Jewish Museum is not surprising. However, it looks different in Poland, especially if it concerns German Jews. In fact, it's not a model but a sculpture. It is also amazing that this is not a commissioned work, but the work of a sculptor, who gave it to the city. What do you mean by the colorful details of the sculpture? Could you look at Decalogue on Fire (footnote no. 5) and indicate it? I will soon add it to the article. Kelvin (talk) 19:04, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

... that the Kłodzko Synagogue (pictured), destroyed in 1938 during Kristallnacht, has been commemorated in a cast-aluminum model?--evrik (talk) 16:24, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, evrik, your wording is very hooky. But there is no inline cite for the cast-aluminum part. Yoninah (talk) 23:37, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Yoninah I am from Jan. 4. and still in hospital, 500 km from home. I waited for photos. Now I added pictures of sculpture and references about cast-aluminium in Polish and German languages. Kelvin (talk) 01:49, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Kelvin sorry to hear you are ailing. Thank you for the new cites. ALT2a foreign-language ref AGF and cited inline. ALT2a good to go. Yoninah (talk) 03:32, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- Yoninah ALT2a good to go, but it needs to be changed. The artist claims that it isn't a model, i.e. an exact reproduction. This is an artistically processed image of the synagogue, i.e. a sculpture, or possibly a model−sculpture. Kelvin (talk) 14:57, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- Kelvin, the "Synagogue revival" section uses the phrase "sculpture model". If that is accurate, then perhaps that's what should be used in a revised hook:

- @BlueMoonset and Yoninah: Now I find this hook ALT2b very good. Kelvin (talk) 17:45, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
