Karymshina
edit- ... that Karymshina produced one of the largest erruptions in known history and yet was only discovered in 2006 by Vladimir L Leonov and Aleksey N?
Created/expanded by Op47 (talk). Self-nominated at 12:58, 12 June 2015 (UTC).
- Op47, unfortunately, this fails a number of basic DYK requirements:
- The nomination is supposed to be made within seven days of expansion or creation. In this case, the article was started on April 26 as list with only 84 prose characters outside of the list, and was expanded on May 6 to 1371 prose characters total, still short of the 1500 required. Since it wasn't nominated until June 12, it isn't going to qualify as either new or expanded. At this point, you'd need to do a further 5x expansion, to 6835 prose characters, which strikes me as extremely unlikely.
- The only sourcing is in the article intro; none of the remaining sections are sourced. You'd need to source all the sections for this to qualify.
- Further, the references are bare URLs with no additional information. References with links have to have more than a bare URL for DYK.
- Please let me know if you have any questions. As it stands, this article is almost certainly going to remain ineligible for DYK, but future nominations, if made within a week of creation or 5x expansion, would be eligible. If you eventually improve this article so it is listed as a Good Article, then it will be eligible within a week of having been nominated. Thanks for contributing to DYK!
