- The article appears to be new enough and long enough. It appears to be neutral and contains no copyright violations. The hook appears in the article with a citation, however, you must put the citation with the hook in this template. Additionally, there is no QPQ. Skyes(BYU) (talk) 22:31, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- Make sure you have enough inline citations. There are some places where there are no citations and a paragraph ends. Reference 12 is a bare URl-please remedy that.
- A quick note, I will be unable to respond to your changes until January 6th, but I am planning to continue reviewing the article when I return. Skyes(BYU) (talk) 22:45, 17 December 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to complete this review, as it seems extreme to wait 3 weeks for a follow-up. The article is new enough and long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, and no close paraphrasing seen. The references have been formatted and the citations are in order. I copyedited the presentation. A QPQ is not needed for the nominator who has less than 5 DYK credits. Regarding credit, do you want to add any of the other editors who contributed substantially to the article?
- The hook itself is repetitive and not so hooky. I daresay most readers outside Nigeria will never have heard of the 1992 film. I agree that the box office records are the most interesting part here; perhaps you might consider this:
- ALT1: ... that the 2019 drama thriller Living in Bondage: Breaking Free became one of the highest-grossing Nigerian films of all time?
- BTW you are linking to List of Nigerian films of 2019 in the article, but the article is not listed on that page. Yoninah (talk) 23:12, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
- Withdraw The year is ending and it might not be relevant to post it to the main page. I am not that active in last few days and I am on a break during this festive season. I will not be able to comment here further and I have decided to withdraw. My work on List of Nigerian films of 2019 is incomplete and I will try to add the films in the future. - @Abishe: Why? The ALT1 hook is ready to go. I can comment out the part about List of Nigerian films of 2019 until you expand the latter article. You do not have to do any further work on this nomination other than agree to ALT1. Yoninah (talk) 12:35, 25 December 2019 (UTC)
