• ALT1: ... that according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated the opponents of pro wrestler "Beef Stew" Lou Marconi dubbed his infamous finisher the "Hellfire lariat" because "it takes five years off your life"?

• ALT2: ... that pro wrestler "Beef Stew" Lou Marconi has been a regular performer for Deaf Wrestlefest, an annual benefit show for hearing-impaired children, since 2009?

• Long enough, despite being created on June 2 and nominated on June 13, the page was moved to article space the day before, so it's fine; sources look fine, hooks cited, good to go. My preference would be to go with the original hook. NFLisAwesome 18:31, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

• I pulled this hook out of the prep area because the article doesn't actually say that Pro Wrestling Illustrated called his nickname one of the most unusual. I agree that the original hook is far better than the ALT hooks. Could it be revised as below?

• Review of ALTs 4 and 5: Both hooks hooky enough and short enough, and referenced to offline citation #23, taken AGF. Note: Above review is taken on trust and still stands.
