Louis Victor Plessier
edit- ... that Louis Victor Plessier is sometimes considered the first French general to be killed during World War I, though four other generals pre-deceased him?

... that General Louis Victor Plessier has a street named after him in Lyon? - Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Henri Negresco

- Primary hook approved, cited to source in French which does not make quite this unambiguous claim but also to a second offline source which we GF suppose does. ALT-1 hook has no citation and is not approved. Copyvio, length, and newness okay. Final sentence is uncited but is accompanied by a photograph we accept as citation of the existence of the street. All other criteria met. GTG. (As per a decision in ANI, two reviews of this nomiantion are required.) LavaBaron (talk) 18:17, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
- Second full review needed. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:33, 30 July 2016 (UTC)
- [2 of 2] This article is new enough and long enough. The ALT0 hook is confirmed by the online source in as far as 3 other generals were killed before him, and from the article on Achille Pierre Deffontaines, I see that he died on 26 August 1914, which fact is presumably in the other hook citation. The article is neutral but with the sources being in French, it is difficult to assess copyright issues. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:05, 4 August 2016 (UTC)
