May Day (Washington College)

edit
  • ALT1:... that during the 1970s, the first male and female Washington College student to walk to the liquor store across from campus naked on May Day would receive a free case of beer?
  • Reviewed: Criminal law in the Marshall Court
  • Comment: Please note the date that this was moved from my sandbox. Is there any way this can be saved for 1 May 2013 or 1 April 2013?

  • Dates and length are OK. Article is well-supplied with footnotes, although some of the sources are non-RS and some of the footnote placement may be non-MOS. No plagiarism/copvio concerns. Original hook checks out in sources; AGF on the ALT1 hook. I like the original hook much better.
We can't save this for May Day 2013, but this would be a good entry for April Fool's Day 2013. I'll move it there. --Orlady (talk) 17:36, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
But May Day 2013 is only one more month away from april fools day? --Guerillero | My Talk 21:42, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
Indeed. However, April Fools Day is the only special occasion for which we save nominations for more than ~6 weeks. --Orlady (talk) 15:10, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
