Migir Migiryan
edit- ... that one of the two athletes to appear in Turkey's first ever Olympics was Mıgırdiç Mıgıryan (pictured), an ethnic Armenian?

- Nice article. New enough when nominated, length and citations look good, BLP does not apply if he was old enough to perform in 1912. AGF on the offline source of the hook. The picture is public domain. My only question is about the QPQ. Have you reviewed another article? Allecher (talk) 01:58, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- Now that you have added the QPQ it looks good to go! Good job! Allecher (talk) 02:41, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- I think this nomination should be merged with the one for Vahram Papazyan.--Carabinieri (talk) 04:11, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
- Agreed. The implication I get from reading this is that the second athlete was not an ethnic Armenian, when in fact they both were. The two hooks are also functionally identical; only the names are different. I'll suggest a combined hook there. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:34, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
- Note: combined hooks have been suggested, and one agreed to by the nominator, on the Template:Did you know nominations/Vahram Papazyan (athlete) nomination page. Icon added here only to prevent this article from being promoted separately. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:32, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
