Mike Marino Memorial Shield

edit

Created/expanded by 72.74.203.105 (talk). Nominated by 72.74.197.172 (talk) at 17:09, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

  • Article is only 1282 characters long, and thus 218 short of the absolute minimum length. Marking as "definitely not" simply because it was created by an IP that's not edited since then, so I doubt that my message on the IP's talk page will be seen by anyone. If someone come back and expand the article, it will certainly remain eligible. Nyttend (talk) 21:35, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Let's give it until the end of November, which is a week from your review, before we close this. We have an IP who typically writes and nominates wrestling articles from the 72.74 IP address range, and whose numbers rarely stay the same from edit to edit—odds are that this is that person, and that the same person created and nominated the article, even though it's two different 72.74 addresses. I wouldn't wait any longer than that, however. BlueMoonset (talk) 19:25, 24 November 2012 (UTC)
  • The author is actively working on this and has contacted me. Perhaps adding an explanation of how the tournament was structured (eg. point decisions) would get it up to 1500 characters? GaryColemanFan (talk) 02:54, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
  • Article needs a full review. It's length appears to be well over 1500 characters according to DYKcheck, and thus eligible for consideration. Note: I have removed a separate DYKnom, since it was created and nominated by the same user, who typically changes IP addresses within 72.74 with great frequency. • ALT2 hook checks out and is the most interesting of the bunch. Article is long enough, was new enough at time of nomination, and is within policy. I'll AGF that the IP editor has not nominated enough articles to need the QPQ. IronGargoyle (talk) 03:54, 19 December 2012 (UTC)
