Mining industry of Malawi

edit
  • ... that the percentage contribution of the mining industry of Malawi to that country's GDP may double between 2013 and 2023?

Moved to mainspace by Rosiestep (talk), Nvvchar (talk), and Dr. Blofeld (talk). Nominated by Rosiestep (talk) at 17:29, 2 July 2015 (UTC).

  • @Nvvchar, Dr. Blofeld, and Rosiestep: A little puzzled on "double between 2013 and 2023." I think I got it, but just to be sure = it is 10% to 20%, right? Otherwise, looking good.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 19:18, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
  • @Doug Coldwell:Thanks for all the reviews. Yes, You are right? It refers to the percentages. Can I add imgs to each of the hooks now? It will be an extra burden on you to review.--Nvvchar. 00:20, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
  • A full review is needed, not just "good to go". I don't see that Malawi has ever had a complete review, even before the split. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:30, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Article is new and long enough, QPQ done. Within policy, no copyvios detected. Why are there question marks after "sulfuric acid" in the Production section? The word "may" in the hook runs afoul of WP:CRYSTAL and WP:WEASEL IMO; the hook should mention the source of the projection. According to the reference it comes from the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy II from the Malawi government. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 02:39, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

  • Thanks for the review. I have made corrections in the text. I am now suggesting an alternative hook in view of above suggestions.
  • ALT1 ... that the report of Mines and Minerals Policy of Malawi, March 2013, has projected contribution of the mining industry of Malawi to the country's GDP to double to 20 percent by 2023?Nvvchar. 01:39, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
  • ALT1b ... that the mining industry of Malawi is projected by its government to double its contribution to the country's GDP to 20 percent by 2023?Nvvchar. 01:39, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
Looks good, I've provided a shorter ALT1b. Antony–22 (talkcontribs) 20:19, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
