- Article is new enough, article and hook meet length requirements, and sourcing for article and hook have been verified. I think that the original hook is far more interesting than ALT1, though it astonishes me that the U.S. Constitution allows for the appointment of a United States Senator who did not have a Wikipedia article at the time of his appointment. I think that a new amendment may be in order, and if our nation only had a citizen-editable Constitution I would have done it already per WP:BRD. Alansohn (talk) 16:29, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Bonnie Newman was one of my first DYKs, and it was a similar circumstance (except that Gregg didn't go through with his resignation). I'll provide QPQ soon, and will add a free image once he's sworn in and gets his congressional portrait taken. Hopefully this can lead a set since February is Black History Month? - His swearing in is officially tomorrow. I assume we'll get a portrait tomorrow as well. At that time, I'll provide QPQ and we can get this up, hopefully with the image, like I said due to it being Black History Month. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:01, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
- I've added an image and a QPQ. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:53, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
