Closing per Graeme Bartlett's analysis of a mainspace article created by Vmars22 on November 10, which is when the article has to be considered new in mainspace. The merged article, which was nominated on November 20 and currently has 1946 prose characters, was not a 5x expansion from the November 10 version which had 1346 prose characters, and was not nominated within seven days.

Article not new enough, was in the mainspace since 7 January.Besides at 1,800 readable prose characters it is very small and barely above the DYK limit. HaEr48 (talk) 01:20, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

- Hi @HaEr48, I moved the article from draftspace on the 16th. This moves all of the edits from the draft (dating back to January) even though it should show me moving it on the 16th. Please ping me if you need more info. czar 06:49, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- I see. I've struck that comment, but I still think the article looks like a stub (it only talks about mostly casting and budgets without solid content). It's 1.8k characters, barely above the minimum eligibility for DYK. The DYK guideline says the reviewer can use discretion to reject short article despite exceeding the minimum. I'd reject it, but I'm new here, not sure what the proper action is. So I'll let another reviewer decide. HaEr48 (talk) 07:16, 21 November 2016 (UTC)

- New reviewer needed (see my comment above) HaEr48 (talk) 07:16, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
- A QPQ review appears to be needed before this can move forward. North America1000 20:45, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
- QPQ's done. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 08:35, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
- Full review needed now that QPQ has been submitted (but see comment above). BlueMoonset (talk) 17:04, 24 December 2016 (UTC)
- Log entry states 15:05, 16 November 2016 Czar merged Draft:Molly's Game into Molly's Game (revisions up to 21:53, 9 November 2016). The history is a bit hard to untangle now it is merged. There was a page there in mainspace on 10 November 2016 created by Vmars22 with fairly similar content, perhaps it was knocked off from the draft, which was merged at the later point in time (16/11). 10 revisions were there before the draft moved in. However it was not created in the 7 days or expanded enough. An earlier redirect, left deleted after the merge can be ignored. Responding to HaEr48, the article is definitely not a stub and is over the limit for size. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:21, 31 December 2016 (UTC)
