Moses Fleetwood Walker
edit- ... that Moses Fleetwood Walker (pictured) was the first openly black athlete to play in Major League Baseball? Source: [1]

- Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Final Destination 3
- Comment: To clarify: William Edward White was the first black man to play in the MLB, but identified as a white man. That is why Walker is the first "openly black" baseball player to play on such a level.
Improved to Good Article status by TheGracefulSlick (talk). Self-nominated at 18:37, 19 March 2017 (UTC).
- Article promoted to GA on 19 March and DYK nominated on the same day. QPQ is done. Inline source provided for the hook. Hook length is fine. You may want to use the image as its from Commons. Assuming good faith on rest of the content as its passed GA recently. - Vivvt (Talk) 09:18, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
