Reverting an edit

edit

It was me who had made some substantial changes in the structure of the article List of Padma Shri award recipients (2020–2029) at the time awards for the year 2022 were announced. I structured the article with the following sections:

  1. Numbers of recipients by year and by field
  2. Numbers of recipients by year and by State/Union Territory/Other Nationality
  3. Recipients by year
    1. List for 2020
    2. List for 2021
    3. List for 2022
    4. List for 2023

I believe that this structured presentation of the list is much better than presenting all the names for all the years in one long list. Also, I believe that the information regarding the numbers of recipients by year/filed and also of numbers of recipients by year/State will give an overall picture of the distribution of the Awards. If any editor feels that the above structured presentation is bad he/she may change the presentation but may please kindly explain why it is bad in this talk page.
