Swayamvaram new comments
There are new comments in the GA nomination page.--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:25, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- There should not be anything in the lead that is not explained in the body. This post-Nehruvian thing or the existential question etc have not been mentioned in teh article otherwise. So, those needs to be explained in the article if we are to keep those nicely written sentences in the lead. Naturally, sources need to be mentioned, too.--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:51, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
- GA passed.--Dwaipayan (talk) 07:33, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

- Hardly anybody knows his award winning performance in Gharabaher but mostly all Mithun fans or crazy filmy buffs would know him as Pote from Gunda. Probably because of his introductory one liner..."Mera naam hain Pote! Jo apne baap ke bhi nahi hote!!" Wah! Wah!! - Vivvt • (Talk) 16:59, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
DYK for Infinite Love
On 6 January 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Infinite Love, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Indian composer A. R. Re: Ray
I read it in a Bengali book or maybe newspaper (can not remember).
Short story:
At almost the end of his film career a Satyajit Ray was asked
“ | In your long film career you have got different types of reactions from different kind of audiences and critics. Which of these reactions have given you the deepest pleasure and influenced you the most? | ” |
After being asked the question Ray thought for a while and then replied in a low voice–
“ | Children.. small children... the reactions of children after watching my films, those were spontaneous and real... | ” |
Note here, he did not mention about adult/matured people or intellectual critics. He mentioned "children's reaction". I find this highly melancholic. In his film career Satyajit Ray had been wounded by critics continuously and Ray reacted few times too. If you can read Bengali I can refer some articles. Ray, an internationally acclaimed film director, wounded all over his life.
Have you heard Satyajit Ray's English pronunciation? If not, you must, see this video. The first scene is taken from Pikoo (film), the article you are working on currently --Tito Dutta (talk) 05:42, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Which Bengali articles are you referring to, Tito?--Dwaipayan (talk) 05:55, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ray wrote two books on making of his films, his opinions on films and one book on making of Pather (Apur) Panchali and one book on his childhood memories... I have these books (both digital and paper copy), there are few interviews too which I read.. I was referring to these! --Tito Dutta (talk) 06:04, 14 January 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Two (1964 film)
On 15 January 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Two (1964 film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray paid tribute to the silent film genre through his short film Two (1964), made without any dialogue, which also makes "a strong anti-war statement"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Two (1964 film). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. For good work on several Satyajit Ray films. Dwaipayan (talk) 02:32, 19 January 2013 (UTC) |
I see the list has not received much attention since the last FLC. I can take a deeper look at it. However, the result could be drastic changes, especially in lead and other prose sections. I think the lead is difficult to read.--Dwaipayan (talk) 21:23, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think before another GoCE, I can try a little bit. Then GoCE would be good. I will try to have look at both content and prose; after that GoCE can focus on prose improvement. --Dwaipayan (talk) 05:42, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I told about drastic changes, but I guess if you look at the draft of the new article that I am suggesting, it might be shocking. I sincerely believe though that such massive trimming is the only way to salvage it. The shorter an article, the less is the chance for any errors.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:32, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Also, check out the other draft. There, Jury make a completely new section. I feel this draft looks more listy, than the usual one that reads more prosy and broken. We can debate on this :)--Dwaipayan (talk) 00:45, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
- That was just an experiment to see how it feels like. Ok, in that case, we can stick to jury and award parts for each category, as usual.--Dwaipayan (talk) 02:15, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- So, do we replace the list with this?--Dwaipayan (talk) 23:21, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ok, now you can request someone for copyedit. However, I was wondering whether adding a paragraph in the lead regarding Indian cinema, its variety (so many languages) and vastness (number one in terms of volume) would increase engaging-ness of the lead.--Dwaipayan (talk) 03:15, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think Smarojit would be a good editor to review the list first, if he can.--Dwaipayan (talk) 03:55, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

NFAs all again...
- Created some categories, the one i wanted to create long back. Its basically splitting the winner's category and adding film categories. (Two were already present.) Moving ahead; although the names are long, do you think these are okay?
- Should these categories be renamed? Adding "Film" in it.
- Category:Films featuring a Best Actor National Award winning performance to Category:Films featuring a Best Actor National Film Award winning performance
- Category:Films featuring a Best Actress National Award winning performance to Category:Films featuring a Best Actress National Film Award winning performance
- Garam Hawa and Parinay have a † sign in front of them on the list Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. Can't think of any reason for that. Why is it there? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 11:45, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed for "National Integration". IMO, all these categories are just mess! Somebody creates something and then one fine day, bot comes and deletes everything and provides summary as some discussion somewhere. I personally have not created any categories by myself but then I donno what to say here. You may want to ask a "category expert" because they dont even like some of the names, so they end up deleting all. - Vivvt • (Talk) 14:55, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
- These names are based on the similar tree of the Holy awards of Hollywood. So you need not worry of deletion. There will be enough people to oppose deletion. Also they have gone way too far creating categories for assistant directors and editors and such. We won't be doing that. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 03:28, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Gulaab Gang

Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! BlueMoonset (talk) 04:24, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
Why are you nominating it for GA? This is more of a list. Expand the songs and aim for FLC IMO. Some minor changes to explain jargon will be needed. After which, you can target a FAC. Will check after I get some time. Busy in a FAC. --Redtigerxyz Talk 13:43, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
- Even I thought that its more of a list but then with the article expansion, text size was getting bigger and bigger. Also, list of songs has got summary section, which I am not sure if it falls under WP:OR or not. The article has already gone thru GoCE edits but still chances of getting it to FLC would be almost impossible with the amount of text article has. I checked some of the radio programme articles and they have invariably been divided into list and article, some of them are even GAs. Your experience would be really helpful for getting this article/list to a better state. Getting sources of this article is a bigger pain. Most of them are in Marathi and not online. - Vivvt • (Talk) 22:57, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

Yes I saw it was in peer review. I think you should place it in flc ASAP if you wish to get it to featured status by the centenary date.--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:21, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
- I saw the documentary partly. It's not a good one, no significant info, rather full of eulogies. While the production date was not mentioned, this particular telecast was in April 2007 ( deduced from the info bar moving at the bottom of the screen).--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:26, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

- I did not find anything extra-ordinary or debatable, and don't think I will have to refer to the Marathi sources for fact checking. A few spot checks for English sources would be enough.
- I doubt if I will be able to dig out any resources for the Harischandra Bengali film on the internet in Bengali. Tito is better at search, he might be. I don't have any Bengali books either.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:56, 5 April 2013 (UTC)

Satyavadi Raja Harishchandra:
The first para of setion under Plot has not been referenced. I have added a few more references but the plot needs referencing. Otherwise DYK will not go through. I am unable to find the reference for the text that you have added. Simliarly in the Bengali flim of the same name there is referencing to the plot. Please address these issues. No paragraph should be left unsourced for DYK.--Nvvchar. 04:43, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Hello! This is a note to let the main editors of the article Satyajit Ray filmography know that it will be appearing as the main page featured list on May 6, 2013. If the previous blurb needs tweaking, you might change it—following the instructions of the suggested formatting. Often regarded as one of the greatest directors of world cinema, Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray's work in motion pictures is spanned over 40 years. Ray worked prominently in Bengali cinema and started his career as a junior visualizer. He made his directorial debut in 1955 with much acclaimed Pather Panchali. Ray's work got wide critical acclaim and his Apu Trilogy (1955–1959) appeared in Time's All-Time 100 Movies. Aside from directing, Ray composed music, wrote screenplays and also produced films. He was often credited as a fiction writer, illustrator, and calligrapher, and some of his short stories have been adapted into films by other directors. Ray received numerous awards throughout his career, including several Indian National Film Awards and an honorary Academy Award at the 64th Academy Awards in 1992. He was awarded with India's highest award in cinema, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, in 1984 and India's highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna, in 1992.

Proposed deletion
You have proposed that Gangadhar be deleted, but you have not stated a reason why. You have applied a "hoax" tag to the article, but did not explicitly call that out as the reason for deletion. For the record, I do not believe the article to be a hoax, simply poorly written (and possibly unverifiable). The Parashar name claims a significant place in Indian and Nepalese history, derived (or so it is claimed) from Parashara himself. This particular article attempt to document how that name migrated from India to Nepal, through the person of Gangadhar. This may or may not be significant, but I'm not sure that your proposed deletion is appropriate. I would leave the article tagged as unsourced, and in need of copy editing, but not necessarily move for deletion. You are free to take the matter to AFD if you feel it is necessary. Deletion
Hi a page Clonakylti I created was deleted (I understand why- I didn't know the rules at the time-and am not looking to get it back!!!) Is there any way that it can be completely deleted now? ie the page with the deletion notice as it still appears in google and can be seen by others. Thanks for your help JulieSmith123 (talk) 14:07, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- No. It cannot be deleted completely. The page with deletion notice is for future reference if anybody creates the article with same name again. But I can see another article Clonakilty. Did you want to create this one earlier? - Vivvt (Talk) 14:16, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for your help. No I didn't want to create Clonakilty- I just want to get rid of the one I did make as if I had known the rules I wouldn't have tried to make it! So all the deleted pages even when non-famous people write about themselves or pages with libelous titles stay on google and wiki with deletion notices too? No exceptions?? Vivvt/Archives (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Blocking me or the other user does not help as there is still no consensus for the edit war. Both of us will jump on it the moment unblocked. So this block does not serve the purpose. Also, please read the talk page discussion and several warnings given to the user for consensus. I am surprised that I am blocked for making several attempt for consensus. - Vivvt (Talk) 00:52, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
so let me see -- you're asking to be unblocked so you can go back to edit warring? I think you're missing the point of this block -- you're blocked to prevent you from doing exactly that. --jpgordon::==( o ) 01:35, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Threatening (promising?) to resume the edit war when this block expires will only result in another block for a longer period.--Bbb23 (talk) 01:05, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- I dont think you understand my concern here. In spite of blocking both of us, you should have helped us (and article) to reach consensus. Thats far more important here as of now. Am I threatening or promising? I dont think I am doing either. Knowing my history on wiki, I have not done that so far. - Vivvt (Talk) 01:21, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Vivvt, IMO you should not have edit warred. Yesterday, I too had dispute with that user, but I did not choose to edit war although my case was much stronger and his was apparently trolling. You are much more experienced user, while s/he is possibly a new editor. The whole focus should have been on developing consensus. Since Isscsirsp do not listen to the other side at all and always press his own view, you could have just waited for other editors to get involved instead of repeatedly reverting his changes. But I hope your block get lifted.--Vigyanitalkਯੋਗਦਾਨ 01:46, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Vigyani. I understand what you are saying. He/she simply does not listen. We cannot have wrong information on wiki just because other editor does not listen. But anyway, admin choose to block me so I cannot do any further. Thanks for your concern about me. I appreciate. - Vivvt (Talk) 02:05, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am neither threatening nor absolutely interested in unblocking myself if admins do not understand the whole crux here. Blocking both the editors is not the solution. Helping them get a consensus is. The other editor was warned, messaged several times. Again, I don't want to talk about him/her or justify myself. My only concern is to get the consensus based on the talk page discussion. If admin can help for that, its well and good. I am not begging for unblock. It would anyway go away in a day and considering my inactivity in last few days, it wouldn't matter to me as well. But the whole point is being missed by admins. Btw, see this and this as well before you take any decision. - Vivvt (Talk) 02:01, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
Accept reason:
I am going to unblock you, not based on the language of the request, but on what I believe to be an evolving understanding below on what you did wrong and your promise to stick to the article talk page. Bbb23 (talk) 20:57, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- I strongly second/support this unblock request (very rarely I go forward and make such request). He is a very reputed editor of Wikipedia, when Vivvt asked the other editor to see the film at YouTube and verify the spelling, he felt, that video might have been manipulated. Weird rationale. And Vivvt is blocked for edit warring with this editor? --Tito☸Dutta 08:03, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for your words, Tito. I appreciate. - Vivvt (Talk) 15:25, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Admins do not settle content disputes - that is a job for the editors in the dispute, and what you should do is discuss it on the article talk page and follow the consensus that develops between the editors who take part. Anyone who engages in edit warring instead of doing that is going to get blocked, even if they are right about the content, and it's no good trying to blame the blocking admin for not sorting out the content dispute for you. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:44, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- First of all, I am not blaming any of the admins for blocks. I am just surprised to see that all of them thought its the only solution to the problem. I am sure none of the admins involved above have read the talk page discussion and attempts for consensus. (Argh...I am tired of this word now!) As I said on the talk page, other editor is not ready to believe what video shows and providing n number of sources to prove it otherwise. There are two other editors besides me (Shakirfan and Writeecrit) and one IP user have supported my claim but other editor does not listen and keeps reverting everybody. And what admins expects us to do? Be gentle, nice, keep posting on talk page, giving warnings to other editors and just dont change the content to avoid edit warring and let them do whatever feel correct? I tried doing that several times and I dont think it helps. It just gets you blocked!! - Vivvt (Talk) 15:25, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, I did read the talk page and formed some tentative conclusions as to the merits of the dispute, but that's irrelevant, and I don't intend to share them with you. There are dispute resolution mechanisms for resolving the failure to achieve a consensus. Those are the mechanisms you must use in a content dispute, not fighting in the article. And I did consider one other alternative to blocking both of you, and that was to lock the article, but i generally don't like doing that if the edit war is principally between two editors as a lock unfairly impacts all editors for the "sins" of two.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:37, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- I am perfectly fine with not sharing your conclusion. But can you do a favor? I would appreciate if you can comment the disputed content till we reach "consensus". Let all involved editors decide and then put it in the article. If I do that once unblocked, I would be blamed for edit warring again. Rather, I tried doing it and got blocked for the same reason. - Vivvt (Talk) 16:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- What you can do when your block expires is return to the talk page and continue the discussion. You can even raise the idea of commenting or tagging the material, but I wouldn't do it yourself. My doing so would be the same as a content comment, and I don't intend to do either.--Bbb23 (talk) 16:53, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- That should be fine. Thanks for the suggestion. Will wait till the verdict of this unblock request or block expiration, whichever happens first. - Vivvt (Talk) 17:00, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- This really seems to have all been in good faith and I'm sure it won't be repeated - I'd support a quick unblock here, if we have the blocking admin's agreement? -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 20:51, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks Bbb23 and Boing! said Zebedee for the unblock. Thanks all for their support. I appreciate. - Vivvt (Talk) 21:38, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
- So sorry to see you blocked and that too for such a stupid reason. But it was simply your bad luck. Had the issue been noticed by some admin who had knowledge of the subject i suppose he would have known whats wrong and whats not. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 17:07, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi!
I think, we haven't talked much here. Well, are you interested in expanding some old film articles like the 90s blockbuster as I'm aiming to do so.—Prashant 02:53, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
- Which one? - Vivvt (Talk) 02:55, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

- Sadly, I haven't see any of these two. - Vivvt (Talk) 03:04, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

I said that in humorous tone. Not seriously. So relax. So, some other films such as pyaasa or maybe.....some Bollywood classics. What's say? If you are interested in Bollywood article then.—Prashant 16:18, 1 July 2013 (UTC)
- Pyaasa and Kaagaz Ke Phool are definitely good movies for the expansion but finding sources for them would be a task. I don't work on Bollywood movies mostly and haven't worked on any of them yet because there are lot of ppl who are working on them and does not need my attention. I work on the articles which are notable but not known.
- Btw, I don't think you said it in humorous way because I saw one of your reverts of my edits also mentioned the same thing! Is it a coincidence? - Vivvt (Talk) 01:12, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
FYI, I removed those comments as there is no GAR. That's why. It is a GA review page and I don't think off topic discussion is needed.—Prashant 02:52, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- You aint supposed to change anybody's comments irrespective of what you think is correct. If somebody's talking about Baba Ramdev's eye flickering on Angelina Jolie's page; let it be that way. - Vivvt (Talk) 02:57, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Okay..i got it. I'll take care from now. Meanwhile, could you tell about writing DYK. As, I want to contribute as well. I'm confused about. Expanding or new article. 5 days old? I don't understand. If you could tell me in details.—Prashant 03:08, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- For DYKs, your frequent collaborator Dr Blofeld is the man. He has created more than 1300 DYKs I believe. If I were you, I would certainly ask him first than anybody else. - Vivvt (Talk) 03:14, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
I know that. He told me certain things. But, I want to know that is it necessary that the article should be expanded within 5 days? For example: I expanded Kaminey, Fashion and Aitraaz. They have crossed 5 day limit. So, are they eligible for DYK?—Prashant 03:24, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- The article should be expanded 5 times (if an unsourced WP:BLP, then newly sourced and 2 times) and should be nominated within 5 days. None of the articles mentioned above are eligible as of now. - Vivvt (Talk) 03:29, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the information. I think I'll take care of the other article, I pick. Would you please tell me any tool to calculate prose size? —Prashant 03:36, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
- Check this. - Vivvt (Talk) 03:38, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello, following a review of your contributions, I have enabled reviewer rights on your account. This gives you the ability to:
- Accept changes on pages undergoing pending changes,
- Have your changes automatically accepted on pending changes level 2 protected pages, and
- Administrate article feedback.
Please remember that this user right:
- Can be removed at any time for misuse, and
- Does not grant you any special status above other editors.
- You should probably also read WP:PROTECT, since this user privilege deals largely with page protection. As the requirements for this privilege are still in a state of flux, I would encourage you to keep up to date on the WP:REVIEWER page. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions! Happy editing! Your request for rollback
Hi Vivvt. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! INeverCry 01:57, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- hurray, you can roll back now :)--Dwaipayan (talk) 02:05, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah. Nowadays most of the edits are undoing the changes. So thought of having this right. Btw, are you back from the wikibreak? - Vivvt (Talk) 02:11, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I'm back from the vacation, which was the major brak. Even then, I have to be much less active here due to work pressure.--Dwaipayan (talk) 22:30, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Peer review
Are u interested in taking part in the peer review of Chandralekha (1948 film)? It would be very useful if u agree. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:59, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- Let me see what I can do from my side. - Vivvt (Talk) 13:51, 19 July 2013 (UTC)
- Pls check for other improvements needed for the article, or pls suggest them to me. Kailash29792 (talk) 07:52, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
Marathi literature
Hi! I came across this link www.Khapre.org which has full texts of many Marathi books, ranging from songs, bhajans, poems, aartis, lokgeete, plays and many more. Could be useful sometime. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 11:25, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
Wanna help...
... in writing Jaymala Shiledar? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 12:03, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well...Yes but I dont know much about her anyways. Just got to know about her recent demise when I clicked your sandbox link. Let me know if I can be of any help.
- Btw, if you have any inclination on working on Hindustani classical music singers like Shobha Gurtu, Bhimsen Joshi, Kishori Amonkar, Shruti Sadolikar, Arati Ankalikar-Tikekar, let me know. - Vivvt (Talk) 13:53, 12 August 2013 (UTC)
- Okay! No problem. I can try these ones also. I don't know much about Sadolikar.
Forget classic... How about the item song? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 12:47, 14 August 2013 (UTC)- No. Absolute NO. I would like to explore Indian classical music. I dont know why are you even asking me for an item song? :P - Vivvt (Talk) 01:56, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- Perhaps because many years down the line the remix version of that song would achieve a cult status, thanks to one Ms Sawant?--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:06, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- Vivvt, stay with the trend. This has a chance of FA, not Ankalikar-Tikekar. And is there a Ms Sawant version also of Chadti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani? I know only of the Khan-Kothari-Unknown version. Others that i know, one made by DJ Aqeel, are only audios. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 12:49, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- You guys made me watch the video this morning. What a start of the day, I must say! I don't know about the third model in the video but its not Ms Sawant for sure. She was in "Pardesia". - Vivvt (Talk) 13:33, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well hello Mr. Vivvt! We didn't made you watch it. You yourself chose to watch it. I, chose to watch the flag hoisting of Lal Qila in morning. (I had watched this song plenty times the night before.) I will take you to WP:ANI for this. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 06:12, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
- Damn, right... my failing memory... Sawant was in Pardesia. Apologies for the mistake.--Dwaipayan (talk) 01:09, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Re: Pather Panchali
Yes, FAC is the wish. It will take some time. The article is in good shape. Any help will be great!--Dwaipayan (talk) 00:02, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well, right now, we have to build the Themes section. There are many resources available, but not everything is online. I will slowly try to evolve that section. Meanwhile, you can freely edit in any sections. Add stuffs if you think needed. I think, since we are starting out, there is no problem adding lots of stuff. Of course, those will need to be properly summarized later.
- I have not recently read the article. You can go ahead, read, and see if you think something is missing. Whatever you think is needed, just do it. I will follow up.--Dwaipayan (talk) 01:01, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
- If any of u r working on Pather Panchali, here are two improvement suggestions by me: a poster is better in the infobox instead of a title card, and there are a few dead links which need to be replaced. Kailash29792 (talk) 12:57, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. We will check on that. - Vivvt (Talk) 11:55, 4 September 2013 (UTC)
Interested?
Since ur status reads "This user is bored (and thus inactive) and looking for something interesting to work on", I was wondering if u were interested in this: the peer review for Chandralekha (1948 film) will be closed soon, and if u could suggest me improvements, that would be helpful. PS, u don't have to edit. Just review it. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:07, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
- I will take a look at it in a while. I see that quoted material issue I raised earlier is still not resolved. - Vivvt (Talk) 11:55, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Ashok Patki
On 1 November 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Ashok Patki, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Ashok Patki has composed more than 5,000 jingles and also composed "Mile Sur Mera Tumhara"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ashok Patki. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Hi! If you have time, could you please have a look into this? Your comments will be highly appreciated in this peer review. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 05:39, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
- Sure. I always wanted to work on this article but never got a chance due to recent workload. But its good that you are taking it ahead. I will definitely provide some inputs from my side. All the best. - Vivvt (Talk) 00:45, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
