Dadasaheb Phalke Award
Hi, a week ago it was "rumored" that Jeetendra will be presented with the award. It's a good news that Gulzar would be honoured! BTW, this year why there is a delay in announcing the awards? —Vensatry (Ping) 15:02, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Glad he didn't get it!! Also, with more than 550 entries received this year, I assume it must have been a difficult and time-consuming process for the juries to finalize the winners. It should be announced next week, I believe. - Vivvt (Talk) 16:14, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- True, it must be a joke! —Vensatry (Ping) 19:04, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, I have nominated Gulzar for front page ITN section and on Wikipedia: ITN/C people supported it but there are urgent need of improvements to make it appear on front page. Issues are discussed on Wikipedia: ITN/C#April 12, please help. Regards, -Nizil (talk) 09:04, 14 April 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. As my talk page mentions in the header, I am not much active these days. With career spanning over 60 years for such prolific personality, the article needs a lot of work and I am afraid, I would not be able to provide that much time for now. Sorry and Good luck! - Vivvt (Talk) 02:52, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Malayalam
What does the parameter "Total awarded" in the Infobox of this article mean? I changed it from 61 to 62 after this year's awards were announced. But you again changed it to 66. Malayala Sahityam (talk) 15:22, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- It means how many films have been awarded so far. The count was incorrect as some of the certificate awarded movies were not counted. I corrected that one. - Vivvt (Talk) 15:43, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

- This is not a fight where one stands for themselves. All your above messages indicates that you need an "assistance" finding the link. On the other hand, as you consider yourself a better editor (I don't know, you might be (read "who cares!!")), you might also be aware of the fact that the last line of your above message may fall under Wikipedia:No personal attacks.
- I am awstruck when you make a comment about being "better human being" than others when you don't even a clue about their personal life...and that's called "being childish". - Vivvt (Talk) 18:05, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- My comments about being human was made with no reference to any of your personal lives, rather I was referring to your on-wiki behaviour, which I'm really frustrated about. And further, criticizing others based on personal opinions is just too ridiculous (it's not that I'm getting paid for every single edit that I make here). I'm really wondering how people like you could make fun of others (contributions made by them) and when someone prompts for an explanation, you term them "childish". If you feel that my comments fall under WP:PA, go file an ANI! —Vensatry (Ping) 18:23, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- If you are frustrated with others, don't deal with them. As simple as that. I don't know you so I don't care. Again, as simple as that.
- I wonder what makes you pass a comments like "how people like you". I am damn sure you don't know me. - Vivvt (Talk) 18:35, 19 April 2014 (UTC)
- If you make fun of somebody you have no rights to stop them from demanding an explanation from you. "I don't know you so I don't care" nice to hear this, but can you criticize their work that too with in Wikipedia. I don't know how fair is this when you don't know many of them even as Wikipedians. As for "people like you", again no connections are to be made with real-life. I was only talking about the on-wiki behaviour. —Vensatry (Ping) 18:52, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

- I have repeatedly said that, I'm talking only about your on-wiki behaviour and not real-life. Inspite of that you continue to say that I'm hinting at your personal life. Once again you proved that you're an intellect! (oh sorry the opposite of it). —Vensatry (Ping) 06:44, 20 April 2014 (UTC)

- Yeah...Very hilarious story. Still, you have become a fierce competition to Gandhi but don't try to take his position in a day, else you will be like Kejriwal, trying to solve all the problems in one go. Life is not like shown in Mudhalvan...play calm...You have the potential (I know...I know :D). To re-verify you potential, you may think of replying again on my talk page. I'm lovin' it - Vivvt (Talk) 17:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- Well, why is that you are so very obsessed with men? (you seem to be very happy after each time you mentioned Rahul's name). Don't drag them here atleast. BTW, do you know me personally? Making comments about my potential ("whatever" you might be referring to, I'm not sure) doesn't make any sense (your "style" of answering). And, yes as someone who started this discussion, I will be more interested in finishing this than you. (Ha, someone has stated that he's very busy and is spending more time in replying me). —Vensatry (Ping) 18:36, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
- "obsessed with men"...Hahaha...May be your ability to infer anything is very inferior!! Do you read my replies at all or every day is a fresh day for you like for Drew Barrymore's character in 50 First Dates? You may be like Kejriwal. Only talk but no action. If you had to end this whole conversation, you would have done it long back. Like DD did in one shot. I must say he is very straightforward, if you haven't noticed so far. - Vivvt (Talk) 18:58, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

National film award records - content dispute
if u have content dispute, please explain why u have reverted. Adurthi subba rao 6 National film award (director) best telugu film is wrong or you have any trouble or personal opinion on listing Mr. Subba rao in the record list. dont just revert without explanation, as some in experienced editors do. This is a content dispute, if u have a problem with something, u have to explain it, it is your responsibility.Mathsraja (talk) 02:38, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

DYK for Vénus de Quinipily
On 5 June 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Vénus de Quinipily, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that during the 17th century many couples performed "erotic" acts near The Iron Lady (pictured), and it was thrown into the river twice for being an object of pagan veneration? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Vénus de Quinipily. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Wrath
I am seeing various Nobel prize lists (e.g. Females, Lit, Eco, WUSTL and more...) which have quotes under citation/rationale column. So can you remind me of which Gods of Copyrights were offended when such quotes were used in NFA lists? §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 04:49, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- I had raised this point earlier but lost interest when got to know that citations are considered as "floral" and role played adds values to the list! - Vivvt (Talk) 09:05, 8 August 2014 (UTC)
- Naah! They didn't call it floral. They used another floral word for that. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 04:29, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

The Special Barnstar | |
For bringing Kaksparsh to GA status! And I believe it is the first GA on a Marathi film. Kailash29792 (talk) 02:07, 17 October 2014 (UTC) |
- Thank you. Yes...This is the first GA on a Marathi film. Interestingly, Dwai also had reviewed first GA on a Malayalam film Swayamvaram for me. - Vivvt (Talk) 16:39, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
- That's great. Ya, I forgot about Swayamvaram. It read like a realy good film. When I first read Kaksparsh I mis-read parts of the plot, and thought the widow is actually the widow of the son of the Hari Damle. And was quite excited to see such a plot in which Damle marries the widow of his son -- quite radical! But later saw she was the widow of his brother. In any case, not a bad story.--Dwaipayan (talk) 18:16, 17 October 2014 (UTC)

Swayamvaram
Just happened to come across this Bengali article on Swayamvaram, written by Gopalkrishnan himself. It has some trivia. I don't know if there are softwares to translate this article in English, for your reading.--Dwaipayan (talk) 21:28, 27 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks much. I will have to see if there is any online help available. Let me see how that goes. - Vivvt (Talk) 08:49, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
