Mourneview Park
edit... that Mourneview Park (pictured) hosted the first Irish League Cup final outside of Belfast?

- I added 'final' to the hook. Length and expansion date ok. Hook fact accepted AGF as source needs login. Photo on Commons since 2011. --Soman (talk) 19:20, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
- Did you check for close paraphrasing? Yoninah (talk) 14:30, 14 May 2014 (UTC)
- Pointing out that the QPQ review cited also does not appear to have checked for close paraphrasing, and needs to if the listed QPQ is to count here. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:27, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
- I've reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Flag of the Gambia. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:08, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you, the new QPQ review does check for close paraphrasing. I also checked this article, Mourneview Park, for close paraphrasing, and found none.
- Unlike the original reviewer, however, I have access to the High Beam source cited in footnote 2. I confirm the statement cited to the source at the end of the first paragraph under History, but I don't see it mentioned anywhere in the source that it was "the first Irish League Cup final to be held outside Belfast". - The thing is that all I can really do is add a load of references about the other finals before it because there doesn't appear to be a full list of final venues. To avoid cluttering the page, I think it best to try an alt.
- Alt1
... that Mourneview Park (pictured) was named as a replacement for Windsor Park to host Linfield's European matches? - Alt2 ... that in 2003 Mourneview Park (pictured) was removed as a potential Irish Cup semi-final ground because of fans rioting?
The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 20:52, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- ALT2 is good and verified. I added the year for reference. Would you like to add that Mourneview Park did host the 2009 Irish Cup, or is this enough for you? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 21:04, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- That is enough for me. Though I think you confused the Irish Cup with the Irish League Cup. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 21:29, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
